Captive Beads: According to Wikipedia, " The captive bead or ball fits into a small opening in the circle of the ring. "
Captive bead nose ring: A drilled hole bead fits the gap on the seamless nose ring ( usually a ball bead). One end is fixed, while the other is the free end.
